San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is looking for a firm to provide marketing, PR and social media services.
The 340-acre facility's marketing region extends from northern Santa Barbara to southern Monterey counties. It has commercial flights to San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Dallas/Fort Worth.
The goal of the communications program is to develop a higher degree of understanding about the airport's operations and to generate goodwill toward it among passengers, business partners, employees, the general public and other government entities.
The hired firm will get involved in branding, marketing communications, website development/management, events, media relations, community outreach and crisis communications.
Proposals are due Feb. 28.
