The San Francisco Bay Area Air Quality Management District wants to hire a PR firm for media relations and crisis communications support.
According to the District's RFQ, the scope of work includes media pitching of local, multicultural and regional outlets on health alerts, initiatives and events; coordination of press conferences and speaking engagements; and implementing crisis communications plans to disseminate information and provide support in community awareness during incident response situations.
The desired firm will be "on call" 24/7.
The District wants to receive statements of qualifications by 4:00 pm (PST) March 27.
