The Walton County Tourist Development Council, the government authority that promotes Walton County, Florida’s tourism economy, is seeking proposals from agencies that can provide marketing research services and consulting advice.

The Northwest Florida county, which sits in the Sunshine State’s panhandle along the Gulf Coast, is comprised of 16 beach neighborhoods stretching over 26 miles of coastline. Its largest city is resort destination Miramar Beach.

TDC is seeking a marketing research firm that can design, conduct, analyze and report on a specific series of studies to gauge and collect information on Walton County’s visitors, lodging inventory, ad messages and perceptions for the purpose of aiding in the successful marketing of the Visit South Walton brand.

Current budget for the research campaign is $170,000-$225,000.

Bidding agencies must submit one hard copy of their proposals along with an original electronic copy on a USB. Proposal fees should be submitted in a separate sealed envelope. All proposals must be clearly marked with the firm/team’s name and address, and the words “Marketing Research Services.”

TDC is also separately seeking proposals from full-service advertising agencies that can execute a strategic media campaign to promote South Walton as a premier tourist destination within its target markets.

Scope of the work includes creative services, media planning and buying, as well as digital platform functions and strategies.
