Montana

Southwest Montana Tourism seeks a firm to promote it as a premier vacation destination due to its unspoiled scenery, mountains, waterways, ghost towns and abundant wildlife.

The region sits between Yellowstone and Glacier national parks. Its cities include Helena, Butte, Virginia City and Anaconda.

SWMT focuses on attracting outdoor recreation enthusiasts, experiential travelers, history buffs and scenic drivers.

Its research shows once visitors travel to Montana, they return to explore places like the southwest part of the state, which is off the beaten path.

SWMT intends to have a close working relationship with its selected firm. It requires the communications partner to assign an account manager to handle the effort.

The account manager shall meet with SWMT’s executive director Sarah Bannon for status updates, either by phone, in-person or virtually—whenever necessary.

He or she may be asked to attend six to eight yearly board meetings either held at SWMT’s headquarters in Deer Lodge or in one of the regional offices.

SWMT’s annual budgets fall in the $900K to $1.2M range.
