Ogilvy scoops up Absolut Vodka. The agency will be responsible for global strategic and creative duties for the brand, focusing on its lead market priorities and growing Absolut’s leadership position. Citing the brand’s “legacy of creating extraordinary and unexpected communications,” Absolut global chief creative officer said that it “wanted a network partner that can deliver the strategic and creative excellence that Ogilvy has demonstrated time and time again.”

Bio-Key

Matter Communications lands BIO-key International, Strategic Security Solutions (S3) and Security Scorecard. Matter will work with all three clients to enhance brand awareness initiatives, supported by a range of programs that includes public relations, thought leadership, integrated marketing and video services. BIO-key International offers identity and access management solutions; Strategic Security Solutions specializes in information security consulting services; and SecurityScorecard provides cybersecurity ratings. “Matter’s combination of deep security experience and knowledge, strategic media relationships and scrappiness are built to generate real results,” said Strategic Security Solutions CEO and founder Johanna Baum.

Ray Hotel

Magrino takes on The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, The Gwen Chicago and Applewood Manor. The agency will work on creative programming and brand awareness development in the U.S. market for all three clients through integrated public relations strategies and marketing campaigns. The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, which has 141 rooms, suites and spaces, is located in Delray Beach’s Pineapple Grove Arts District. The Gwen is in the landmark McGraw-Hill building on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, and Applewood Manor, which is reopening in April, is a boutique B&B located in the Montford Historic District of Asheville, NC.

Ballantines Public Relations books Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, CA.
